As an overweight person, frequently getting down on the floor & many other aspects of traditional routines just aren’t feasible right at the start. “This review is mostly just for Kaisa-- I'm in my mid-twenties and am a former athlete. After years of dormancy in the athletic world, I was stunned and embarrassed when beginning a workout class and being entirely unable to keep up in any way. I felt like my body had failed me. Or more like I failed my body...I was extremely sore, getting injured, unable to perform, and needed to take it so slow when starting. Not only do I love this program, but mostly love YOU. “In the pre-Covid times I was a bit of a gym rat. I had a regular schedule which was actually ramping up and then the pandemic hit. A body sculptor who I had followed online for awhile released a pretty intense home workout program which I purchased thinking I would be able to keep up my fitness goals despite the lockdown. That VERY QUICKLY fell by the wayside. Fast forward 10+ months of a sedentary lifestyle and I've lost the tone around my abs and gained a little weight in the midsection, but worse than that, I got stiff to the point that simply moving was becoming uncomfortable and I now have plantar fasciitis in my left foot, ugh. I'm not really sure how Kaisa came across my radar (probably via Oxygen Mag) but I had started following her on Facebook and when her birthday special came up and I took a peek at her programs and was instantly captivated by the super basic Start Mobility program. Here was something I could do to get my body used to moving again. I had been feeling like I needed to start from scratch and START Mobility was exactly what I needed. I bought the Mobility bundle and committed to doing a week of the START program while also incorporating the 5 minute chair exercises during my work day. I was excited to wake up to that good sore feeling again, that meant something was happening and my body was responding, the plantar fasciitis is even starting to ease up a little. HOORAY!! My first week passed and over the weekend I moved up to Mobility One and just yesterday did one of the free videos called Dynamic Dumbbell which only required one dumbbell. I was nearly in tears because I had not lifted a weight in so long and I was able to enjoy and complete that workout despite struggling a little. I think frome here I'll be fluctuating between START and Mobility One for the next couple of weeks before kicking it up to the other programs in the series. I am just so grateful for Kaisa, I love her gentle low pressure attitude toward the viewers abilities and I am so glad to have found her program to get me back into the habit of moving my body again. “Like so many fitness “products” I had seen KaisaFit on Instagram for a long time but was doubtful it could do what it said. I finally did a little research on it to find that at a minimum Kaisa is a real person and it’s a legitimate program. The price is so reasonable I decided to try it. For the first time in nearly a year I did not take ibuprofen before going to bed last night to be able to sleep. I’d been having deep hip pain since the summer, and two knee injuries that, along with COVID, have limited my activity level to the point where I’ve gone backward on my fitness. I’m a cyclist, but a “plus” size person so other body weight programs don’t work for me, and traditional yoga does not work for my knees. This program has absolutely improved how my hips, knees, and overall body felt from the first 10 minute mobility video.
